Invitations to POP, ArtBall No. 4, encourage friends of the Artist Foundation to don their sky-high heels, sequined halter tops and Warhol wigs and "party like a rock star" on Saturday at La Villita Assembly Building.
Centerpieces made by local artists from found objects, mostly in their own studios, will be for sale.
"This is the piano I didn't learn piano on," said photographer Ansen Seale of his deconstructed piano sculpture.
The hosting Artist Foundation was created by artist Bettie Ward and Patricia Pratchett in 2006 to assist local artists of all genres.
